show up late for lectures and cycle my
heart out. A pretty little city, with
some amazing woodland. But then I'm a
city boy - easily impressed.
(Even if it is Britain's 2nd largest city)

- And guess what? I have another home.
This one is in Pisa. I had a room
with a balconey, that was 2 minutes away from a
river, 1 minute away from a real castle, 10 minutes
from a crooked tower and right under the showdow of
the Alpine foothills. Beat that! :)

When the alps, apalacians and canadian Rockies
were one big happy family, the peeks of
Vancouver would tap the Pisan hills on their frost
covered caps and say "Ha. I'm taller than you!"
They would then lie back, dip their feet
in to the Laurasian ocean and watch the aurora,
leaving the poor Pisan hills to struggle trying to
seeing past the tall Alpine heads, which would get
in their way, even when sanding on tippy toes.
I don't live there. It isn't my home.
I'm just standing here peering in on my
tippy toes.
